BRAKE SQUEAL TREATMENT – SQUEAL MEDIC GUNK® Squeal Medic, when applied to rotors or drums, stops brake noise before it starts Squeal Medic delivers excellent noise suppression and break-in properties of the linings When applied to the rotors and drums, Squeal Medic fills voids to help eliminate brake squeals caused by harmonic vibration resulting from uneven surfaces. Squeal Medic does not affect braking performance. Helps prevent oxidation of rotors and drums. Will not affect or damage the ABS sensors or rubber components of the braking system. Squeal Medic is effective on all vehicle brake systems, requires no drying time, and can be used as an anti-seize lubricant on lug nuts. Professional users must read the Material Safety Data Sheet before using this product. MSDS’s are available at www.gunk.com BENEFITS: Stops brake squeals caused by harmonic characteristic of rotors before they start ● Safely tested by an independent laboratory to ensure safe braking after use ● Does not decrease braking effectiveness when used as directed ● Apply to brake rotor DIRECTIONS: 1. Shake can well before using. 2. Use on a clean system. 3. Before assembling the unit, spray a light coat (2 seconds) directly onto the rotor or drum surface. Use sparingly. Then assemble the unit 4. After assembling the unit, drive the vehicle applying the brakes 5 to 8 times while driving at low speed. STORAGE, HANDLING & DISPOSAL: FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD: EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. Use only in a well-ventilated area away from heat, sparks and flame. BREATHING & CONTACT HAZARDS: Ensure a constant flow of fresh air, especially in confined spaces such as enclosed garages or other low-lying areas where vapors can collect. EXPLOSION OR FLASH FIRE FROM LIQUID OR VAPORS MAY CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. Do not puncture, crush, or incinerate (burn) can. Do not expose to heat, direct sunlight, or store at a temperature above 120°F. INHALING CONCENTRATED VAPORS, INTENTIONALLY OR OTHERWISE CAN BE HARMFUL OR FATAL. FIRST AID: EYE CONTACT: Flush thoroughly with water for 15 minutes while occasionally lifting eyelids and get prompt medical attention. SKIN CONTACT: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. If irritation develops, get prompt medical attention. INHALATION: Move to fresh air. If breathing becomes difficult, get prompt medical attention. INGESTION: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Call Poison Control Center, Physician, or Hospital Emergency Room immediately.
