Reforming Catalyst - Platforming
توضیحات محصول
Catalytic reforming refers to the process of rearranging hydrocarbon molecules into new structures under the action of a reforming catalyst. The reforming catalyst, by heating under hydrogen pressure, converts the light gasoline fractions obtained from crude distillation into high-octane gasoline. During this process of petroleum refining, aromatic products can also be produced such as benzene, toluene and xylenes. Also, by platforming liquefied petroleum gas and hydrogen can be obtained as important byproducts. The large amount of hydrogen can be used in the hydrotreating and hydroncracking in refineries.
The catalytic reforming with the help of a platforming catalyst is typically used to improve gasoline quality and manufacture petrochemical materials. The reforming catalyst is commonly found in modern petroleum refineries and petrochemical complexes, etc.
