ESM-xx20 series temperature controllers are designed for measuring and controlling the process temperature. They can be used in many applications with their TC and RTD temperature measurement input, Relay and SSR Driver control output, selectable alarm functions. They are mainly used in glass, plastic, petro-chemistry, textile, automotive and machine production industries. Accurate and advanced controlling is performed with selectable On/off, P, PI, PD, PID and Self Tune PID functions.
This type of controllers provides Proportional with Integral and Derivative control, or PID. Proportional controls are designed to eliminate the cycling associated with on-off control. proportional controller decreases the average power supplied to the heater as the temperature approaches setpoint. This has the effect of slowing down the heater so that it will not overshoot the setpoint, but will approach the setpoint and maintain a stable temperature. Two additional adjustments Integral (I) and Derivative (D) control added to proportional control helps the unit automatically compensate for changes in the system. It provides the most accurate and stable control. It is recommended in systems which have a relatively small mass, those which react quickly to changes in the energy, where load changes often. Our PID devices has Auto-tune facility.
