​​The Zemic BM14A load cell is one of the best high-capacity load cells from 10 to 200 tons, which is mostly used in heavy weighbridges. The design of this load cell is unique and special in such a way that it consists of four columns and 16 strain gauges, and in load cell tests, especially fatigue and recovery tests, very good results have been recorded for this load cell. The manufacturing quality of the BM14A load cell is excellent, so that all its external connections are laser welded. The four-column design of this load cell makes it more resistant to abnormal loads and has higher accuracy and sensitivity against eccentric forces. Perhaps the only weakness of this load cell is its relatively high price. The BM14A load cell is a multi-column compression load cell. The maximum output of these load cells (Full Scale Output) is adjusted by the manufacturer in such a way that they have very little difference with each other, and in multi-load cell weighing systems, edge-balancing of this type of load cell is easily done using a junction box. The material of this load cell is stainless steel and has an IP68 protection
standard,which makes it water resistant. The BM14A load cell has ATEX standard and can be used in explosive and hazardous environments
